| Welcome to Get Bucked Ranch! The Get Bucked Rodeo Co breeding program was established in April 2006, after Chance got out of the Army. We first stumbled across a Double Bred Houdini Grandson (Houdini’s Nemesis), and later purchased a Happy Jack Daughter from Creek Bottom Rodeo Cattle. In the Fall of '09, Chance & Mel purchased a 6 bull package from John Rose (Arrow Rodeo Livestock), for our foundation sires. These came from some of the best bloodlines in the industry, to include #22 Stroken, A13 Trick or Treat, Lightning Jack, Muskadine Wine, Gunslinger, & #17 Chief just to name a few. Our foundation cows go back to sires such as Mossy Oak Mudslinger, Sharp Dressed Man (-46 & G216), 231 Wild Thing, Hobo, Smash Hit, & RCX Alligator. In the Summer of '10, Chance & Melanie invited Steve Robb to join the company. He will be getting his start with the purchase of a couple really nice heifers from Charlie Sheffield of Rockin' S Cattle. At this point, we have strived to amass an elite program of the best “Bred to Buck” genetics available. For now we are located in Central Texas, right in the middle of all the action! As the popularity of this sport continues to expand, Get Bucked Rodeo Co hopes to grow to proportions that will amaze even us.
